Taken from Amazon:  Bad news, bad news—I got me the blues. I’m stuck on an island with turtles and cuckoos.

In this charming tale told in playful rhyme, Bobby the Blue-Footed Booby embarks on the adventure of a lifetime, looking for companionship and a new groove. As he travels near and far, he sings and sways to the blues, ultimately discovering the joys and comfort of coming home.

The Blue-Footed Booby Blues is a harmonious tale that will have readers tapping their feet to the rhythm. With catchy rhymes and swingin’ style, author Stephanie Duncan-Peters wrote the perfect bluesy story for the whole family to enjoy.

My Thoughts:  Bobby makes the rounds from well known town to well known town looking for the place that feels just right to him.   He finds something in each town that makes him happy but he is always searching for something else.    The lesson of this book is that you should spread your wings and explore the world but there is no place like home.

Each page has an illustration of where Bobby currently is.   I like that the towns he visits are familiar and the pictures show well known places in each of these towns.  If someone has traveled to these towns, they will easily recognize the buildings and locations.

Thank you Blue Balloon Books for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
