My Thoughts: Steamy, sexy, forbidden, true love, soul mates, age gap love… there are so many genres in this book and they all came together perfectly. Kaylene Winter wrote of two wonderful characters that will make the reader care about their futures, their past, and their present. I enjoyed getting to know Cillian and Ivy. Their stories are not perfect but their love is perfect for each other.
Tender Temptations is a steamy book. The sexy scenes made me blush and I looked forward to each and every one of them. While the scenes were steamy they were also full of love and respect. The innocence of Ivy was not made to be a thing and she had no issue letting Cillian know what she needed. Cillian was respectful of Ivy but also let her know what he was going to do and what he needed.
There are triggers in this book, the verbal abuse scenes were hard. I hate that people talk to each other like that. The way the characters reacted and handle those scenes should give hope that there are ways to get help and to support those who are treated that way.
