My Thoughts: If you a child has anyone in the military
that has to travel and be gone this is the perfect book for them. This book even has a blank space to be a
name or relationship (ie:mom, dad, sister, brother) to be input in the
story. I love the frame at the end and
beginning to put a picture.
The illustrations are real to life but not to detailed to
overwhelm a child. They show what life
in the military is on a basic level and how it can be similar to what the child
is doing at home, so it is relatable.
Camping in the Army is a cute story that can help a child
understand what their adult in their life is going through.
