My Thoughts: What We Keep is my first time listening or reading a Jennifer Millikin book. I really enjoyed it. I love dual narrators. Victoria Dickson and Wesley Mercer had the perfect voices to bring the story to life.
I could feel Avery's love for Gabriel and I love their story. I love their relationship, their joys, and their pains. Everything about the couple made them realistic and relatable. I was invested in them figuring out what was next for them and the way to get to whatever was next.
I did not realize that this was part of a series, although I had not read any of the series. I jumped right in and never realized I was missing anything. I am going to go back and listen to more of this series just because I loved the characters so much.
