Children's Book Review for The Adventures of Pete the Airplane: Pete's Adventure in Alabama by Alfred G Seaman

The Adventures of Pete the Airplane: Pete's Adventure in Alabama by Alfred G Seaman

Taken from Goodreads:  Calling all mental travelers! Embark on a thrilling journey with Pete, an airplane with a very special job, in this lively new book from author Alfred Seaman Jr.

Join Pete as he ferries the president of the United States to a unique destination: Alabama! There, you'll meet Big Buh-Buh, the governor's helicopter. Together, Pete and Big Buh-Buh embark on an exhilarating flight across Alabama's diverse landscapes, from its majestic mountains to its sprawling plains.

Guided by his newfound friend, Pete delves into Alabama's rich tapestry of culture and history, discovering the state's vibrant cities, deep-rooted traditions, and significant contributions to the global stage. Through his adventures, Pete learns valuable lessons about friendship, cultural diversity, and the importance of exploring the world beyond one's own borders. Young readers will be eager to explore alongside him in this engaging story.

My Thoughts:  I love Pete.  He is Air Force One, giving the President a ride to Alabama for an event.   He meets the Governor’s helicopter and gets a tour of Alabama.   I enjoyed the short tour of Alabama and the vibrant pictures that went with the tour.

This is a great book to read to your child if you are traveling to Alabama or they are interested in flying.   Pete is a super cute airplane and Big Buh-Buh is a fun helicopter.   The pages are full of bright illustrations and the story is short.  Perfect for a young child.

Thank you Ballast Books for a copy of the book in exchange for my honest review.
