Audiobook Review: Freeing
Sully is super short but a great prequel to For the Love of Whiskey. Sully has escaped a cult and Cowboy is
protecting her on Redemption Ranch. This
is the story of Sully. The story of her
life in the cult, her escape, her hopes and dreams, and her future. I highly recommend listening/reading it
before you start For the Love of Whiskey.
The narrator, Meg Sylvan, is perfect for Sully. She keeps Sully naïve but aware of how
living in a cult is not the normal way of life. Sully’s spirit, her will to get out of the
cult life, and her willingness to put herself out of her comfort zone to find a
“normal” life had me riveted to the story.
