My Thoughts…
Two families, lifelong friends, who are torn apart over a stupid feud. The kids are no longer allowed to be friends, the parents no longer talk, and God Forbid a Johnson and a Braden fall for each other. That leads us to the story of Rex and Jade. Their attraction has been there since high school but it is forbidden due to the families’ feud. Now Jade has returned to Weston and Sexy Rexy is still there working on his family ranch and the attraction has grown up, stayed strong, and the two of them are not willing to let it go.
One of my favorite things is how strong Addison Coles women are. They stand their ground, push their men to do the right thing, and make choices for themselves. Jade is no exception and she helps Rex open his heart, making the right decisions where the two of them are concerned. Rex is a pureblood, rancher with strong family ties and it hurts him to be sneaking around behind his dad but love wins out every time in an Addison Cole book. I love how respectful he is of Jade and how his possessiveness over Jade pushes him to make the decision to make their relationship public knowledge.
