A cat has nine
lives, but that doesn’t mean she should forfeit one of them.
Katya Pelletier is the practical, no-nonsense twin. She loves life as much as her sister, she just doesn’t seem able to enjoy it as much. While Alley is the life of the party and has boyfriends to spare, Katya can’t seem to attract anyone’s attention.
Until she meets Carter Jag.
Carter is the perfect male specimen. By all rights, he should be chasing after Alley. But to Katya’s surprise—and confusion—he’s only interested in her.
As their relationship progresses, something primal and passionate awakens in Katya. She’s introduced to and immersed in a whole world she never knew existed. A paranormal world. A world of antiquated ideas and imminent danger. Katya is a jaguar shifter, and her former “family” has come to claim their prize—her.
Katya joins Carter and his supernatural allies in the fight of her life—a battle to free her from her former family and their outdated ways. But will their power and magic be enough to save her from the life of violence and servitude the jaguars are determined to force on her?
*Though this is book 6, it works as a standalone from the rest of the series. You can either start here or with book 1.*

My Thoughts…
Oh, Man I am
addicted. I love these paranormal
characters. The witches, the shifters,
the trolls, and all the rest…I just cannot get enough. Stacy Claflin has me hooked on this
wonderful series.
This is Carters
story. It is the story of his needing
to find the lone jaguar shifter that is hiding in his town. He can scent her, he knows she is there, and
he knows she is someone who he has to meet.
Then he meets her, he finds out that her life has been kept from her and
she has no idea who she is. Katya is
a challenge for Carter and he is definitely up for it.
I love that the
characters from the other books in this series make appearances throughout this
story. It is fun to catch up on what
they are doing now, how their families are, and see how devoted they still are
to their pack.
As a fan of
Stacy Claflin and this series I definitely recommend picking up your own copy
and enjoying their story.
Thank you Stacy
Claflin for a copy of your book in exchange for an honest review.
Meet Stacy Claflin...
Stacy Claflin writes about complex women overcoming incredible odds. Whether it's her Gone trilogy of psychological thrillers, her ongoing Transformed paranormal saga, or her Seaside Hunters sweet romance series, Stacy's three-dimensional heroines shine through.
Decades after she wrote her first stories on construction paper and years after typing on an inherited green screen computer that weighed half a ton, Stacy realized her dream of becoming a full-time author.
When she's not busy writing or educating her kids from home, Stacy enjoys watching TV shows like Supernatural, Pretty Little Liars, and Once Upon a Time.
