My Thoughts: I
devoured this book. Melissa Foster’s
books are known for their steamy, sexy, sometimes pushy, always loving
men. Dare Whiskey is all that and
more. There was just something about
him that pulled at my heart. I had tears
in my eyes while reading this book. I
felt Dare’s love for Billie. It hurt my
heart how much he loves Billie. I knew
that he would win her over, he had to.
Billie, she punishes herself for not loving enough and for
loving too much. I love the way her
family and friends circle around her without smothering her while offering her
the support she needs to find the way to open her heart to Dare and to the rest
of her life.
Everything in this book is wonderful. The beautiful setting of Redemption Ranch,
the Whiskey family and friends, and the story of Billie and Dare. I love visiting my friends at Redemption
Ranch, catching up with the characters I have met in other books Melissa Foster
has written. I enjoy meeting new
characters that I look forward to seeing again in future books of
Melissa’s.
