This is a novella but I felt it was really more of a teaser.   The whole story from beginning to end is sixty pages long and leave the reader with a HUGE cliffhanger.   

I found the story fun to read and was a great introduction to the characters of Jordyn and Ridge.   They have been high school sweethearts and all she wants is to be engaged.   Then one night happens and her whole world is turned upside down.   She has an unexpected hero in her corner and, as the reader, I am not sure who I want her to end up with.    

It will be interesting to see how Casey Peeler starts the next book in the series  but I am sure that I will be looking forward to reading it when it becomes available.
