She’s guarding
a family secret. He’s investigating a murder. Will a second homecoming lead to
true love?
Freya Hunter is living the fabulous life. The west-coast girl rakes it in as a fashion model in New York City, but everything changes after she returns home for a quick visit.
The reunion with friends and family in Enchantment Bay is sweet, especially when she hits it off with Nico Valentin, a ruggedly handsome police sergeant. As Nico investigates the death, Freya learns a family secret big enough to turn her world upside down.
Freya is torn between her new life and her hometown — the life she loves vs. the brother who needs her and the sergeant who wants her. When her decision doesn’t go nearly as well as she planned, she wonders if she can help her brother and keep her growing feelings for Nico at bay before they consume her.
If you like sweet romance, easy storytelling, and satisfying tales of true love, you’ll enjoy this new spinoff series from the wildly popular Seaside Hunters.

My Thoughts…
I love a
sweet, romantic, mushy romance story.
This is exactly what I was expecting from Stacy Claflin in Bayside
Wishes. Yet, there was murder (not a
big part of the story) that goes along with being a police sergeant, there was a psycho
ex-girlfriend, there was food addiction and weight lose issues, and there was
lose of a wife and child. Bayside
Wishes is so much more than just a mushy romance story. There is so many wonderful mini stories
within the bigger story.
The Hunter
Family is amazing. The mom and dad are
supportive and real. I love when the
dad tells his secret and the family is all amazed yet so accepting and
appreciative for his honesty. The
siblings all give each other grief over EVERYTHING yet are the first to step
forward and offer support at each hurdle.
These siblings are also the first to celebrate successes together.
The main story
is the life of Freya. She returns to
her hometown to say goodbye to a classmate and meets a man. Being a model in New York she is not
looking for a relationship, especially a long distance one. I felt like it was empowering for her to
leave him and her family and go back to NY to follow her dreams. A strong woman who knows what she wants usually
comes out on top. Then as life
changes for her she makes some tough decisions and does what is right for her,
not because some man is making the decisions or her family is pressuring
her. Freya is absolutely a woman to
look up to. Yet, she is soft, lovable,
and understanding.
Stacy Claflin
has introduced me to an entire new family and I can’t wait to meet the rest of
them. I recommend checking her
out.
