My Thoughts…

Forbidden love, one night stand, and a tattooed biker.   What more can I ask for?   The answer is nothing.   Emily Goodwin gave me everything I was hoping for and more.    This book is the perfect book for an easy lazy day read.    I didn’t have to stress over the characters, they just worked together.   I didn’t have to wonder what was going to happen next because I knew that I would not be putting this book down.     It is exactly what I wanted.

The characters of Lauren and Noah are long time friends with secret crushes on each other.   The issue?  Noah is her brother’s best friend.     That means he is hands off, until that one night when he wasn’t hands off.     The feelings between these two came to a head fast and hard.    They were both cautious with their feelings but it was obvious to the reader that they were in love.    I loved that they got together but didn’t just give everything to each other immediately.   They treaded carefully with baby steps in their relation but it didn’t nship.    They supported each other, spent time together, and learned about each other.   Obviously, they had to end up together.    The path taken was not easy, was not straight, and was so worth it. 

This is a fun book.  It is easy and flows perfectly.    The characters and fun, relatable, and wonderful.     I recommend checking out Emily Goodwin’s First Comes Love.
